Clothing’s journey across the world

Look into or imagine an item of clothing’s journey across the world. Check out the materials of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Reuse Centre

Prepare a map of the journey of a particular item of clothing and calculate the assumed number of kilometres travelled by the item, from fibre to a finished product sold at a shop.

Where was the fibre grown or manufactured?
Where was the fabric woven?
Where was the fabric dyed or printed?
Where was the item of clothing sewn?
Where is the item of clothing sold?
What will happen to the item of clothing after use?
